Do I need a separate app?

No. Recallbase plugs into existing agent apps as an MCP connector – the Claude app, claude.ai or ChatGPT. There is nothing to install.

What does phone usage cost?

Nothing extra. The connector comes with every Recallbase account – including the free plan. Custom connectors do require a paid plan of the respective agent app (e.g. Claude Pro).

Is my data safe with the key in the URL?

The connection is TLS-only, and the key can be revoked in your account at any time. Treat the connector URL like a password – if lost, delete the key and create a new one.
